Konrad Fischer Galerie opened its Berlin space in 2007, extending the gallery's legacy beyond its Düsseldorf origins. Since 2019, the Berlin gallery has been located at 12 Neue Grünstraße, within a former electrical substation originally designed in 1928 by architect Hans Heinrich Müller as a facility for distribution technology. The building, unused since 1998 and now under historical protection, is set back from the street and clearly visible from Neue Grünstraße. Its distinctive red and polychrome brick façade and narrow vertical window bands - behind which a sculptural staircase unfolds - define the architecture.

Originally located in the narrow passageway at Neubrückstraße 12, the gallery's early exhibitions were shaped by the distinctive architecture of that space, where many artists developed site-specific works in close dialogue with the environment.

Today, the Düsseldorf gallery operates from its current premises on Platanenstraße (as shown). While the physical setting has evolved, the spirit of conceptual rigor and architectural engagement remains central to Konrad Fischer Galerie's identity. The Platanenstraße location continues to foster a dynamic relationship between space and artistic practice.
