Following the major 2019 exhibition Body Performance at the Helmut Newton Foundation, the thematic sequel Rooms / Stages shifts attention to spatial interventions and artists' relationships to space. On an 11-meter-long exhibition wall, a black-and-white sequence by Gregor Schneider unfolds—his documentation of alterations to his parents' house in Mönchengladbach-Rheydt.
